Ongoing management I manage the portfolio for you and stay on it all year. For accounts of $50,000 or more See what's includedHide details 1% Per year
Everything in the Model Portfolio Setup, plus hands-on management and year-round advisor access.
- Everything in Model Portfolio Setup, implemented for you
- Ongoing quarterly monitoring and adjustments
- Quarterly portfolio reviews
- Behavioral coaching
- Rebalancing as needed
- Direct advisor access all year
What 1% actually costs: on a $50,000 account, about $500 a year — roughly $125 a quarter, charged after the quarter ends rather than up front.
You decide how much rope I get. By default I bring you every recommendation and wait for a yes. If you'd rather not approve each one, you can sign a separate form letting me act without asking — and cancel it in writing any time. Either way I can't take money out, send it anywhere, or change who inherits it.
Where your money sits: in an account in your name at a large brokerage firm, not with me. I can work with firms including Altruist and Fidelity, and you can pick your own.
Hourly advice A paid conversation about whatever's on your mind. One-hour minimum, nothing ongoing. Any account size, or none yet See what's includedHide details $125 Per hour One-hour minimum
Pay only for the time you need. Good for a specific question, a second opinion, or a one-time financial gut-check.
- One-on-one advisor time
- Investment Q&A and second opinions
- Portfolio review and feedback
- Retirement planning guidance
- No ongoing commitment required
There's a one-hour minimum, then it's billed for the time actually spent and invoiced when the work is done. If an hour covers it, an hour is all you pay for.
Model portfolio setup A portfolio built for you once, that you then run yourself. For accounts under $50,000, or none yet See what's includedHide details $485 One time
A professionally designed investment portfolio tailored to your goals, risk tolerance, and account structure.
- Personalized portfolio allocation implemented for you*
- Risk-profile matching
- Roth, Traditional, and taxable account guidance
- Contribution strategy guidance
* Whether I can place the trades depends on where your account is held. If your brokerage firm gives advisers trading access, I implement the allocation for you. If it doesn't, I'll tell you exactly what to buy and how much of each, and you place the orders. Either way you get the same portfolio.
This is a one-time engagement. If you want someone watching it after that, that's ongoing management above.
